Usually I go for a long walk the night before or the morning of a painting day, and that's when I discover what I will be painting next. Its an emotional pull that I experience while seeing.
I currently work with oil paints and charcoal, and my work is influenced by the flora and fauna of my surroundings. I live west of Minneapolis on 120 acres that includes woods, wetlands, and 50 acres of native prairie.
In addition to painting I am also a riding instructor and trainer, focusing on Dressage.
Most of the paintings shown on my blog are for sale - please contact me if you are interested. To leave a comment click on comments below image and select anonymous when sending if you are not registered with blogger. Thanks for visiting!
