This week it was rainy so I was in the studio. After such a long Winter and Spring, I feel overwhelmed by the unfurling of all the flora and all the green!

- I currently work with oil paints and charcoal, and my work is influenced by the flora and fauna of my surroundings. I live west of Minneapolis on 120 acres that includes woods, wetlands, and 50 acres of native prairie. In addition to painting I am also a riding instructor and trainer, focusing on Dressage. Excellent composition. It pulls you in, lets you rest and takes you comfortably through the painting. I am amazed at how much you can make happen with green. Luscious!
