Here is a picture of an afternoon prairie walk that our friend Carl Hoffman took. Two years ago this was a soybean field; in two or three weeks there will be flowers blooming and I will post another photo.
I currently work with oil paints and charcoal, and my work is influenced by the flora and fauna of my surroundings. I live west of Minneapolis on 120 acres that includes woods, wetlands, and 50 acres of native prairie.
In addition to painting I am also a riding instructor and trainer, focusing on Dressage.
Most of the paintings shown on my blog are for sale - please contact me if you are interested. To leave a comment click on comments below image and select anonymous when sending if you are not registered with blogger. Thanks for visiting!
